Silver's Critiques Banwen - 3 May ‘08 BP, the delightful, super quality whippet, Koppelwell Kurious Kactus, at just over 6 months was completely un-phased by the day, nothing curious about this one, shapely, elegant & balanced outline of good proportions & covering ground when stacked, most feminine of head, lovely dark oval eyes, moved as sound as a bell. J-1st, BPIS National Whippet Association CH - 4 May ‘08 Nothing curious about this lovely brindle baby. Sweetest of heads, long neck fitting into a well laid shoulder, good feet, correct topline for her age with arch over the loin, well bent stifles, excelled on the move, has lovely balance and quality, loved her. MPB-1st, N-1st, BPIS National Dog Show CH - 11 May ‘08 I realise having only one entry in OB & that being a minor puppy caused quite a stir, but on checking the KC rules & regs etc F (1) 3.61 21 judges & judging n. An award may be withheld if in the opinion of the judge there is a lack of sufficient merit. I obviously thought she had sufficient merit to award a first & Stud Book number. She was shortlisted in a super MP class & 5th Novice giving age away all round. On getting home I read that only two weeks previously she had gone BPIS under two breed specialists at a club ch show. Taunton & DCA - 29 May ‘08 A beautiful brindle/white bitch puppy which is most certainly one for the future and high honours. At present she conforms closely to the standard conformation requirements for one so young and hopefully will continue to mature. She moved confidently around the ring with accuracy, good extension and drive. P-1st, L-1st, BP, PG2 Southern Counties CH - 31 May ‘08 Very good shape, feminine & curvy, very good on move, pleases in head, good neck, good chest for age, arch to loin, very good rear. MPB-1st, BBP Three Counties Championship Show - 6 June ’08 Lovely size silver/br who was quite mature & already has balance & substance, good infill and deep chest, nice bone & feet, pleasing outline, strong quarters with very good movement. MPB-2nd Horley & DCS Open Show – 24 Aug ‘08 10 month old brindle bitch. Right size for age. Neat head and ears. Nice topline. Correct angulation front and rear. Was easily the best in this class. Windsor Champ Show – 28 June ‘08 The first three in this class were all top class puppies. East Anglian Whippet Club Ch Show – 17 Aug ‘08 Attractive brindle of nice size & shape, pleasing head & expression, lovely balanced outline, good length of neck into correct shoulders, good depth of chest & nice tuck-up, excellent rear angulation, best mover in the class. Monmouthshire Show Open – 28 Aug ‘08 Grey brindle with white points 10 month bitch. Flowing overall outline, balanced angulation front and rear. Lovely depth of chest, good tuck-up. Good topline, well muscled second thigh, low-set hocks. Needs to settle a bit coming, but very free moving in profile, covering the ground with ease. P & J 1st, BOB Poole Canine – Nov 8 ‘08 12 months bitch, excellent outline showing depth and length, moved out well.Y & PG 1st, BOB, G2 Hereford & County Kennel Society - 25 Aug ‘08 Another puppy I really liked, just under 10 months old brindle bitch. Feminine head, well laid shoulder, good overall length with plenty of curves. Moved well, should mature into a lovely bitch. J-1st National Whippet Association Open Show – 3 Nov ‘08 An honest little bitch of nice size,lovely head & expression, nice shape with good rear angulation. J-2nd Crystal Palace Nov 15 ‘08 Liked her head, eye shape and colour, nice front with plenty of heart room, good depth of chest, plenty of substance, rear in balance to front. J 1st, G 1st Stourbridge & DCS 27 Dec ‘08 Blue/fawn brindle bitch that was full of quality from nose to tail. Feminine head, fine sleek coat, Long neck flowing smoothly into a well-placed shoulder. Good length and sweep over the loin to unexaggerated hindquarters. Gorgeous breed type but just needs more time to strengthen and mature her outline. SP.Y 1st Whippet Club of Wales Open 8 Feb ‘09 Lovely head and alert expression, neat ears, good reach of neck, well proportioned length in loin, moved with good rear drive. JB 2nd Llynfi Valley Canine Society 22 Feb ‘09 Good for size, clean coming and going,pleasing head and front, nice type and naturally more mature than the others here. J 1st Northern Counties Whippet Club Ch Show – 19 Apr '09 A very pretty and feminine blue brindle bitch, this girl is a lovely balanced well constructed whippet, attractive outline and conformation all through, good athletic and sound mover. SpBegB – 1st Tamworth - 18 July '09 nice feminine bitch of correct size, nice head, alert expression, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, good front, nice length of loin, good rear angulation, both good forward reach and rear drive provided effortless movement. BOB Hound Group Vale of Glamorgan Ag Soc Open Show – 20 Aug 09 typical bitch, lovely type and size, an easy winner of this class, beautiful head, lovely expression, muscular long neck, nicely balanced angulation, correct topline, moved truly and in profile, really liked her and am sure the best is yet to come. O-1st, BOB Group 1, RBIS Windsor ch 09 really nice exhibit, full of quality & with that essential, but hard to define essence of type, lovely flow & symmetry of outline, muscular neck of good length, well laid shoulder blade, fair length and return of upper arm, good expanse and length of well sprung rib, firm topline, pleasing length and strength of loin, pleasing slope of croup, shapely quarters, & well positioned hocks. Looked a picture stacked but not quite as impressive on the move as 1 (Bluespring’s Coppelia) YB – 2nd Tredegar & Mon - 17 October '09 Correct head, eye and expression, neat well set ears, well chiselled throughout, correct head carriage, neck and shoulders, good upper arm, legs and feet, capacious ribs, strong back and loin, good couplings, , tuck and muscular hindquarters, sound effortless mover in peak condition, scored in outline & type, handled to best advantage. O – 1st, Group 1, RBIS Newton Abbot & S Devon 30 Jan ’10 lovely bitch to handle, clean neat skull, neat ears, good bite, good neck & shoulders, well ribbed, lovely arch into well made quarters, hocks well let down, showed well. O – 1st WCOW Open 14 Feb ’10 I have judged as a puppy & admired her since, pleased to see she is developing nicely, very little to criticise with regard to conformation but her super movement was not up to the usual standard & was eclipsed by a deserving winner. O – 1st SW Hound 5 Apr ’10 lovely size light brindle, pretty head & body of good substance without being too heavy, so feminine & moved with drive. LB – 1st Bath CH 10 very elegant with correct size & beautiful lines, very feminine head & expression, beautiful neck, balanced angulations, lovely body & topline, free easygoing movement. PG – 1st, RBCC Three Counties Ch 10 brindle of lovely make & shape, nice head & neck, good depth, well angulated, sound stylish movement. PG – 1st. Taunton DCS 3 June '10 brindle bitch with with a long neck & body, behaved & handled well, moved with drive from low hocks. L - 1st.
